Schoology Grade Syncing Issues

 

Try the below troubleshooting tips if you are experiencing issues syncing grades to eSchoolPlus

  • A category is required. To sync, first assign a category to this assignment, then sync again
    • Check assignments using the Bulk Edit Tool in the gradebook make sure no assignments are in the "Ungraded" category. Assignments must be in either Formative or Summative to be able to sync to eSchoolPlus SIS because those are the only categories mapped in the teacher's eSchoolPlus SIS Teacher App under the Configuration tab (within their course).

  • Verify the assignment due date. Be sure to check that it is valid according to the school calendar in eSchoolPlus.
    • To sync, change the assignment due date:
      • Date must be due on a school day within the grading period
      • Then sync again error.
  • "Cannot sync assignments and grades" error:
    • Run a manual push:
      • Click on Gradebook --> Then click the clipboard icon "View Sync Log", -->Click "Sync Changes"
